About Creative

In 2006, Ron and Janet Sytz founded Creative Fabric Service, LLC (d.b.a Creative Ticking). Creative was positioned as the specialty division of Beverly Knits, one of the largest circular knitters in the U.S. and founded by Ron’s parents, Robert and JoAnn Sytz. Beverly Knits has been a frontrunner in delivering innovative fabrics used in a variety of industries, such as high end apparel, medical, automotive and the sleep products industry.

With more than 42 years of experience in the knitting industry, Beverly Knits is the technology center behind the Creative brand. This unique point of view allows Creative to focus on research and development, providing ground breaking high quality designs and flexibility for the bedding industry. The company’s approach to innovation unites a skillful product development staff made up of engineers, technicians and designers that bring new ideas and perspectives to the bedding industry. Creative seamlessly combines form and function into innovative sleep solutions, knit from the fabric of dreams as “The Power of Sleep Starts Here”.

In recent years, Beverly Knits has vertically integrated and rebranded as Beverly in 2023. It’s offerings now include knitting, dyeing and finishing, and cutting and sewing. Each manufacturing process operates as a separate business unit, but are known together as The Beverly Family of Companies. Through Creative's affiliation with The Beverly Family of Companies and other strategic partnerships, Creative is able to offer full package mattress toppers, zipper covers, pillows and sheet sets. The Creative team will guide you through the design process from yarn selection, through knitting and finishing techniques, to a cut and sewn product.

Parker Sytz

Parker Sytz has grown up in the sleep products industry and has been involved in the business his entire life. His grandparents started Beverly Knits Inc. in 1980. His parents, Ron and Janet Sytz, purchasing the company in 2004. Parker attended North Carolina State and began a career in finance. After several years in the financial industry, he joined Beverly Knits and the Creative team. Parker is now serving as the Director of Business Development at Creative and recently received his MBA from Wake Forest University.

Camilla Franklin

Camilla Franklin found her home at Creative in 2021 as the VP of Design and Marketing. She has served in the sleep products industry for over 20 years. As the VP of Design and Marketing, Camilla takes a hands-on approach in product mix, product design, R & D, customer relationships, as well as assisting in new business and ongoing brand development. In addition, Camilla has a diverse background that covers apparel, home, and sleep fabrics including woven, knit, and print fabrics. Her experience allows Creative to expand its business and create groundbreaking products.

Tim Scorziell

Tim Scorziell has a family history in the Mattress Industry going back to 1926 when his Grandfather, Rosario Scorziell, founded Banner Mattress. Tim began working in the family business in 1977, gaining a keen understanding of mattress design, aesthetic design, product development, and mattress production all through the lens of factory direct retail.  Tim sights his direct connection with thousands and thousands of retail customers as invaluable training for how to properly design and develop sleep systems that provide the best possible sleep experience, which then effectively generate referrals.  Tim began working with Creative in 2011.

Scott Charest

Scott Charest started his career owning a manufacturing company for 21 years. Scott is an accountant by education and a sales rep by choice. He started in the mattress industry 10 years ago with the fabric company Deslee Clama, following that he started a Rep business, CJN Sales Associates. He reps fabric, foam, latex, FR, springs, from this broad experience he has learned all facets of the business from bed design to manufacturing. He has recently joined Creative to spearhead his Rep business with quality mattress fabrics.
