Make Your Mattress Perform! Got Sheets?
Caressing the Curves
Does your product enhance the sleeping experience?
Do the products used to make a bed enhance or restrict the performance of the foam, latex, springs?
As we design mattress ticking and FR Barrier solutions, we look for characteristics to produce fabrics that enhance rather than inhibit the mattress’ performance.
Take for example, latex. What are the benefits of latex and how can we enhance the feel with our fabrics? We know that a healthy sleeper changes his or her position maybe 50 to 60 times during the night to avoid painful aches. Being able to change positions without interruption or obstruction is essential to a good night’s sleep and a pain-free morning. Latex affords the sleeper just that. Latex mattresses adapt to the body’s contour and keep the spinal column in the perfect alignment regardless of the position that the sleeper is in. The mattress is soft when you first lay on it but the resistance increases as the latex compresses creating the perfect comfort zone.
The structure of the latex lends itself to provide the perfect ventilation system, helping perspiration to evaporate while you sleep. The tiny air-bubble structure creates the ideal balance in temperature. The mattress is able to breathe. Understanding all of the properties of latex and how that benefits the sleeper is our first step in finding creative solutions ahead of the curve.
How important are the fabrics that go on top of that latex mattress? Why would you put a ticking or FR barrier on top of a latex mattress that doesn’t have the same characteristics as Latex? If you cover a latex mattress with a rigid material that does not stretch and breathe, you have just forfeited the benefits of latex.
Our mattress fabrics for latex enhance the feel and performance of a latex mattress. We believe that the fabric should caress the body’s curves and move in tandem with the latex. It should have a 4-way stretch that is soft, cool, and breathable. With our Resilliensse Stretch fabrics, we provide ticking solutions to create the perfect marriage between mattress and mattress ticking. With our Caress for Latex FR Barrier, we provide a FR solution to enhance the Latex feel, not restricting any of the benefits.
Caressing the curves is our business.
